What they ate, how long they slept, how the day went.
NepiNest is the daily report app for nurseries and kindergartens. Teachers log the day from a phone as it happens, and parents read it before pickup. In the same app: announcements, the class chat, absences, pickup and payments.

A day in the classroom
Logging happens as the day goes, a few taps at a time. By the end of the day the report is already done.
Attendance
Mark who arrived. If a parent has told the school from the app that their child is staying home, it is already on the list.
Meals
One tap per meal: all, some or none. If the whole class ate the same, set it for everyone at once.
Nap
How long each child slept. Parents see the duration at a glance.
Send
Reports go out to parents. When today looks like yesterday, “Repeat yesterday” fills in the same values and you change only what differs.

The app as a parent opens it on their phone, screen by screen. The names and details are sample data.

The child's day
Mood first, then meals and nap. A parent knows how the day went before reading any detail. From “Tell the school” they say the child won’t be in, that they are coming to pick up, or write to the class.

Announcements
Trips, closures, parent meetings. The important ones stay pinned at the top. A post counts as read when a parent opens it, and where the school asks families to confirm, the parent taps “I’ve seen it”.

Class chat
Each class has its own group chat with parents and teachers.

Absence notice
When a child stays home, the parent tells the school, for today or the next school day, with a note if they like. The teacher sees it at the register.
The school portal
The office and the teachers work in the portal from a computer, or from a phone in the same app the parents use. Each sees what their role needs: the office the whole school, a teacher their own class.

- Classes, children and guardians, with allergies, dietary needs, emergency contacts and who may collect each child. Parents can see what the school has on record.
- Attendance and reports
- The day's register with one tap at the door, and every class's reports on one screen: which went out and which are still drafts.
- Announcements
- To the whole school, pinned or scheduled for later. For the important ones, ask families to confirm and see which have not.
- Broadcast
- A short message to the phones of parents in one or more classes, or of particular children.
- Class chat
- One group chat per class, with its parents and teachers. Nobody has to hand out a personal phone number.
- Incidents
- A bump or a small accident is recorded once and never edited. Anything later is added as an addendum, the office reviews it, and the parent confirms they have seen it.
- Pickup, menus, belongings
- A parent says they are on the way and the child is ready at the door. The week’s menu, and reminders such as “please bring spare clothes”.
- Staff and activity log
- Staff accounts with roles, and a record of who changed what, and from what.
Payments, next to the child’s day
The office records the bank transfer, or the cash handed over at pick-up, and the family sees the same months in the app. The money goes straight to the school. NepiNest never handles it and issues no fiscal documents.

- Families and the months of the year on one screen. A transfer with no note settles the oldest open month first, so nobody splits it by hand.
- To whoever pays
- Each family has a read-only page with its months and the transfer details. A parent sends it as a link, or shows it as a QR on their phone, say to the grandparent who pays. Once the parent or the school stops the link, the page no longer opens.
- In the parent’s app
- Next to the day’s report: the same months, the school’s IBAN and the code for the transfer note, ready to copy.

Every family sees what the month comes to and by when.
- The money comes in
A transfer, cash at pick-up or a payment app. The office notes it down.
- The month closes
It turns green in the office and on the family’s page. Parents who use the app get a notification.
- If one slips
A few days past the due date, a quiet message with no amounts in it. Only if the school has switched it on.

How do we get started?
Create an account for your school on the sign-up page and add your classes and staff. Parents find your school when they sign up, and you approve who joins.
Do parents need to install an app?
It is more convenient on a phone, but not required. Parents can also log in from a computer, here on nepinest.com.
Where does the office see everything?
In the school portal, from any browser: classes, children, attendance, reports, announcements, incidents, payments and staff. Most of it also works from the app on a phone.
Do payments go through the app?
No. Parents pay the school as they do today, by bank transfer or in cash, and the office records the payment. NepiNest shows both sides which months are settled. It never handles the money and issues no receipts.

Who can see the children's data?
Each school sees only its own data, and each parent only their own child. The privacy policy sets out what we keep and why.
Can we try it before signing up?
Yes. The demo opens a trial school with sample data, where you go in as the office, a teacher or a parent. It deletes itself after a few hours.
